THEATER

Merced Theatre Los Angeles
The Merced Theatre was the
first permanent theater in the
city of Los Angeles.
The ticket prices ranged
from 50 cents in the balcony
to 1 $ for chairs on the parquet.
The people found diversion
in the burlesque shows
of travelling troupes
or the dramatic and musical
efforts of local talent.

ImagineAsian Cinema in downtown Los Angeles
The modern
ImagineAsian Center
has a wall-to-wall screen,
Dolby digital, THX-certified
surround sound,
digital projectors,
deluxe stadium seating
and a posh VIP section
with a bar, serving drinks.
