States cross-country travelers and was
shared by the Southern California Rapid
Transit District

Pacific Electric Lofts (center)

Sixth + Main Streets

The building served as headquarters
and interurban terminal for Henry
HuntinGton's Southern Pacific Railroad
Red Cars from 1916 until 1963.

Another long gone transportation hub was
below the SubwaY Terminal building.

Today all activities are centered around the
East Portal of downtown's Union Station
